Course Highlights
This course is designed to help enable you to place implants in severely resorbed edentulous ridges. Traditionally block grafts or ridge split would be used with questionable predictability; however, with the help of the Vertical Translation Technique® it is becoming increasingly predictable to place implants under these circumstances using particulate grafts. This minimizes patient's morbidity. This will enhance your bone grafting skill in any area.
Course Objectives
- Learn how to identify cases where the patient can benefit from Ridge Augmentation without using the block grafts.
- Gain an understanding of the graft material to be used.
- Learn the flap manipulation and wound closure technique.
Who Should Attend
- Doctors who want to be able to service their patients with dental implants, but are leery about doing block grafts.
- Doctors who have patients who need implants, but don't have enough bone to support them.
- Doctors who want to learn a less invasive way of augmentation to allow better implant position and location.
